Sharing Walls

During my upcoming exhibitions in New York and Philadelphia, I will be keeping some remarkably high-class company, here are some personal favorites:

At the Camera Club of New York I will be sharing wall space with (and greatly looking forward to meeting) Rhea Karam, one of the contemporary photographers whose work I most admire, as well as rising-star Peter Urban and multiple-Pulitzer Prize nominee Susana Raab, among many other extremely talented artists.

Additionally, the CCNY has announced the solo exhibition opening for photographer Clemence de Limburg, the grand prize winner of this year’s juried competition, tomorrow, March 7 at 5:30 p.m. The exhibition is on view through April 18.

At The Print Center, I am deeply honored to have my work hung alongside that of Amy Stein, one of the most insightful and affecting art photographers working today. Amy also writes an excellent blog, which fills some of the void left by Alec Soth’s silence.

Please take a few moments to explore the portfolios of these exceptional artists. You can also view a list of all the photographers exhibiting at The Print Center here.

I must admit that I have a dual purpose in this blog post.
Some of you may have noticed that, recently, a new gallery entitled “Selections” briefly appeared on this site, and then suddenly disappeared. In the few days that the portfolio was “live”, I realized that I had created an entire gallery of, frankly, lesser images primarily for the purpose of showing off one particular photo that did not comfortably fit anywhere else. So...that image now graces the top of this post. Enjoy.
