Media Round-up

My debut solo exhibition, “The Small Corners of Existence”, opens today at L. Nowlin Gallery and runs through January 2, 2010.

During the past few weeks, the exhibit has received a great deal of gracious media coverage. Here are some highlights:

Julie Moody at KUT radio, Austin’s NPR member station, produced a compelling segment about the show and our relationship with Front Steps.

Robert Faires penned (perhaps “keyed” might be more appropriate in the modern era) an insightful, moving feature on my photographs for the "Austin Chronicle".

The November issue of "Austin Monthly" magazine, available on newsstands now, contains a brief but lovely piece on my work by Elizabeth Barbee.

The kind folks at “Digital Photography for Moms” have begun a multi-part interview series, which is available at “Texas Chicks Blogs and Pics”.

The “East Austinite” looks beyond their borders to offer a brief write-up on the exhibit.

May I also suggest becoming a “fan” on Facebook to keep up with Southwestern Biograph news automatically.

I greatly hope to see you all at the opening reception on November 7 from 6 to 8 PM.
