Exhibition at the Camera Club of New York

Esteemed photographer Larry Fink has selected “Lamar Footbridge”, the image reproduced above, for inclusion in a exhibition this Spring at the Camera Club of New York as part of the 2007 National Photography Competition. The exhibition will be on view at the Camera Club’s new gallery space from April 24 to June 5, 2008.

The Camera Club of New York is a venerable not-for-profit organization founded in 1884 by Alfred Stieglitz, who used the club as a forum to convince a still skeptical public that photography was an art worthy of comparison to painting. Today the club offers low-cost photography classes, lectures, workshops, and exhibitions by the world’s leading photographers, and the only year-round darkroom residency program in New York.

Limited edition prints of “Lamar Footbridge” are available directly from the artist.
