Occasionally, over the last several months, certain events have engendered a mild sense of having "arrived" in a larger world. Such experiences have, mostly, been related to my work appearing in publications that I myself read and respect.
This week, I have felt that sensation acutely several times, due to the following articles in lenscratch (the web’s premier photo blog), F-Stop Magazine (where I am the “Featured Artist” for the month of February), and BWGallerist (which includes a brief interview).
I would also like to draw your attention to an exemplary initiative by Seattle’s Wall Space Gallery. The gallery and its artists have banded together and created Life Support to assist in the Haitian relief effort.
100% of the proceeds generated by the sale of this special collection of limited-edition prints, priced as low as fifty dollars, will be donated to Doctors Without Borders. I urge all of you with the means to do so to support this noble effort.
And...altruism aside, you will absolutely never get another chance to purchase a print by Mitch Dobrowner, Jennifer Schlesinger, or Charles Grogg for a mere fifty dollars...
