Camera Club of NY Opening and Px3

Don’t forget that the opening of the Camera Club of New York exhibition is on Thursday, April 24 at 6:00 PM. The CCNY is located at 336 West 37th Street in Manhattan. Hope to see you all there.

Another exciting event on the horizon is the 2008 Prix de la Photographie Paris, and I could certainly use your support in this event also.

In addition to the main category awards, which will be announced later this month, the Px3, as it is known, also gives out a People’s Choice Award, and public voting for this prize is now open.

This year the jury has selected five of my entries to be voted on for the People’s Choice Award. To vote for my photographs, you will need to register as a voter. After you have registered and signed in, you may browse for my photographs or return to this blog (without signing out) and follow the links below.

My series “The Lamp” is in the Fine Art - Abstract category, as is the series “The Bed”.

“Cyclamen Buds” and “Untitled (Flower)” are both located in the Nature - Flowers category.

You will find “Palm Leaves” under the Nature - Other heading.

One additional note: you will notice that all of these photos are listed as being “non-professional” entries. Well...that was true when these photos were entered into the competition last year.

Nonetheless, I would still appreciate your support and votes in this prestigious contest.
