Month of Photography - Los Angeles
MOPLA consists of a variety of dynamic programming designed to engage and stimulate the photography community, and includes a comprehensive calendar of exhibitions and events throughout the month of April.
MOPLA is organized by the Lucie Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable foundation dedicated to the celebration of photography.
The Lucie Foundation is also producing a weekend of portfolios reviews, Fresh Look, on April 24 and 25. This review is a one-on-one comprehensive conversation between renowned professionals in the industry and photographers. Fresh Look aims to bring together gallery directors, curators, photo editors, art directors, publishers and agents to offer an array of expertise in various photographic fields.
I have been invited to participate in this event and will be traveling to Los Angeles on April 23 to present my portfolio “The Small Corners of Existence” to a group of gallerists and publishers.
Frankly, I couldn’t be more excited.
